Do I need to use MoodFire every single day?
Not at all. But the more you check in, the better your insights become. Think of it like building a streak on your favourite game. If you miss a day, no big deal. Just pick it back up when you are ready.
When will I start seeing mood trends?
MoodFire needs at least 6 days of check-ins to give you personalised insights. Keep logging your mood and we will let you know when new patterns are ready for you to explore.
Do I need headphones?
We recommend them for the Unwind feature, especially if you want the best experience with our binaural and EMDR-style music.
What if I am having a really bad day?
That is okay. MoodFire is here to support you, not judge you. Check in as much or as little as you can. Even tiny steps forward are still steps.
Will you remind me to log my mood?
Yes. We will send you gentle notifications to check in and let you know when new insights are ready. No spammy messages, just a little nudge when it matters.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your mood entries and personal data are private to your account. No one else can see your check-ins or insights. We store your data securely using encrypted cloud services so it stays safe and backed up.
Can I delete my account and all my data?
Absolutely. Go to My Account and tap Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data from our servers and your device. You will need to verify your identity before we process the deletion.
What is Reframe and how does it work?
Reframe is a guided tool that helps you challenge unhelpful thoughts. You write down what is bothering you, rate how you feel and then work through a new way of looking at it. MoodFire can also suggest alternative perspectives to help you get started.
What is the Grounding exercise?
Grounding uses the 5-4-3-2-1 technique to bring you back to the present moment. You will focus on things you can see, touch, hear, smell and taste. It is a quick way to feel more centred when things feel overwhelming.
What is Spark?
Spark is a short gratitude exercise. You answer three quick questions about what you are grateful for, what made your day better and who brought you comfort. It only takes a minute and can shift your mindset in a positive direction.
What does the Breathe feature do?
Breathe is a 60-second guided breathing exercise with gentle visual and haptic cues to help you slow down. It is designed to calm your nervous system quickly when you are feeling stressed or anxious.
Why are there morning and evening check-ins?
Your mood can shift throughout the day. Logging in the morning and evening helps MoodFire spot patterns like whether you tend to feel better at certain times. You do not have to do both but it gives you richer insights over time.
How do streaks work?
Your streak counts the number of days in a row you have checked in. As long as you log at least one mood entry within 36 hours of your last one your streak stays alive. If it breaks you can always start a new one.
Can I use MoodFire on a new device?
Yes. Sign in with the same account on your new device and your data will be restored from the cloud. All your mood history, insights and progress will carry over.
Can I sign in with my fingerprint or face?
Yes. After your first login you can enable biometric sign-in from My Account. This lets you unlock MoodFire with your fingerprint or face so you do not have to type your password each time.
What happens if MoodFire detects I might need extra support?
If something you write suggests you may be going through a tough time we will gently share relevant support resources and helpline information for your country. MoodFire is not a replacement for professional help but we want to make sure you know where to find it.
